Bloodlock Playtest Rules V0.52 *now with Pikes, polearms, katanas & bayonets!*
Atttteeeen-shun!
Bloodlock has had a massive update.
Bloodlock is a feudal low-tech napoleonics that allows you to play multiple games in the time it would take to play 1 - that is the core tenant to my writing of it. To that end, I have had my minions hard at work improving how building regiments & armies work as well as building out your armies.
Something which is very important to me is players making important choices. I wanted to do this without using points systems while still allowing for creativity. So, when building an army in bloodlock you will build regiments which each contain 1 Commanding Officer, which can carry into battle a blood mage gauntlet, as well as a number of units, which you can equip & grow in size using the Rank and File rule. Each regiment can select a Blood Injection from their chosen Alliance. This is an idea which I have been brewing for some time now but is not final. In the end, it may just be a good ol' points system.
To everyone who has tried Bloodlock or reached out to me, I appreciate it very much. Carry on, you buggers!
